St James Road Baptist Church is a 'Fair Trade' church and has served fairly traded tea, coffee & sugar for many years at all church and community events.
Following the Sunday morning service all are welcome to join us in the church hall for a fairly traded mug of tea or coffee.
A small selection of fairly traded foods are on sale after some morning services and can be ordered from Traidcraft through SJR as well as fairly traded clothes, jewellery and stationery. Contact Sue & Jonathan Sampson via church.
In the past we have held fashion shows of fairly traded clothes for ladies, men and children.
An annual Christmas Pudding making evening is held using as many fairly traded ingredients as possible around Autumn half term time.
