We are currently full (for those born 2008). We are about to make allocations for next (Summer) term and will shortly be sending out offer letters (those already on our registration list born May-Aug. 2009);Unfortunately, we are more than twice oversubscribed on our registration list for this, and also for all other 2012 intake terms, so please consider other providers (see our local children's centre Westfield for more information and help - and list of other West Watford providers).

For birth dates after Sept. 2009 use our Registration form

Our places are allocated termly in advance from a pre-registered list - please note that we are oversubscribed and you need to apply at least 9-12 months before your child is 3 yrs, preferably using the online registration form.

We serve the local West Watford/WD18 postcode area, mostly WD18 0/6/7 areas, and some close-by WD17 town centre areas.

Children start Pre-school during the term they turn 3 years old. Current fees (reviewing Sept 2012) £7.50 per 2 1/2 hr afternoon session, unless on exceptional 2 year old funding. For any children with birthdays right at the start of term who may be offered 3 hour morning spaces, fees will be £9/session. Most are fully funded the term(s) after they turn 3. For April birthdays, the Council only fund from Sept, even if starting in January. Children usually start with two afternoon sessions and those born Sept-Dec usually move to three morning sessions in January, while the later born children remain in the afternoon.

If offered a place you will need to pay one week's non-refundable deposit, and pay for all sessions booked, whether attended or not. Payments can be made termly, half termly, monthly or weekly by arrangment.

Children may move on to School Nursery class either in Sept or Jan during the school year they will turn 4, depending on school admission criteria (you have to use HCC web site Nursery Admissions process which has closed for this year and will start in Feb 2012 for those born 1/9/08-31/8/09 for Sept. 2012 and no space is guaranteed.) Some summer-born children can and do stay at Pre-school at this age and transfer directly to Reception Class in September after they turn 4. To have your Nursery time at Pre-school, please apply directly to us even if you are already at Pre-school.

We are registered with Ofsted, the Pre-school Learning Alliance and for two- & three-year old and nursery funding with Herts County Council. We may be able to take Nursery Vouchers - talk to Liz about any you may be able to have from work. We operate under a range of policies and precedures to ensure a safe, healthy and caring learning environment.

Our Group Leader is Mrs Liz Wright.

Management Team: Dave Pennie (chair person), Clive Ellis, Rev Stephen Harrison, Ruth Roberts, Liz Wright.

We operate on a not-for-profit basis as part of the church charity.

Please refer to the Toddlers page for more information on our provision for those younger than Pre-school age.
