SJR Church Pre-school

Pre-school meets at the Church Hall during term time, tel:01923 251825 On session days.

When: Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 9.30am-12.00 & 12.30-3.00pm.

Closed for Summer - no enquiries can be responded to now until start of next term.

All spaces for Autumn term are filled. In the Autumn term we will send out offer letters to those allocated a space to start January 2011 (for those on our waiting list born Jan-April 2008).

Children start Pre-school during the term they turn 3 years old. Fees £7.50 per 2 1/2 hr afternoon session, unless on exceptional under-3 funding. For any September born children offered 3 hour morning spaces fees will be £9/session. Most are fully funded the term(s) after they turn 3. Children may move on to School Nursery class either in Sept or Jan during the school year they will turn 4, depending on school admission criteria. Some younger children can and do stay at Pre-school at this age and transfer directly to Reception Class in September oj January after they turn 4. Our places are allocated termly in advance from a pre-registered list - to have your name added to the list, please click to complete the registration form.

Please note that we are oversubscribed and you need to apply at least 9-12 months before your child is 3 yrs, preferably using online form below.

The waiting list is full, oversubscribed and now closed for those born Jan-April 2008. Allocations for those on this list for Jan 2011 starts will be made around the end of October. The May-August 2008 birth window is still open but already has more people on than we'll have space for - so consider other providers.

We serve the local West Watford/WD18 postcode area, mostly WD18 0/6/7 areas.

Children usually start with two afternoon sessions and move to three sessions for older children the following term, later born children remain in the afternoon, those born September- December usually move to morning sessions.

We are registered with Ofsted, the Pre-school Learning Alliance and for funding with Herts County Council.
