Our Purpose Statement

We believe that a Great Commitment to the Great Commandment and the Great Commission will grow a Great Church. 

Acts 2:42-47: They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

Matthew 22:36-40, The Great Commandment:  "Jesus said, `Love the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind.  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it:  Love your neighbour as yourself.  All the Law and Prophets hang on these two commandments." 

Matthew 28:19, The Great Commission: "Jesus said, `Go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you." 

We are seeking to grow in these five purposes : 

To celebrate God's presence by a life of worship.

To demonstrate God's love through ministry.

To communicate God's word by evangelism.

To assimilate God's people into His family in fellowship

To educate God's people by discipleship.
